Exfoliation is an integral part of skincare regimen, but scrubbing can do more harm than good if done incorrectly. If you are suffering from rosacea, a scrub may even aggravate your problem. Moreover, after scrubbing, you should use a pore minimiser, such as an alcohol-free toner or rose water. Here are a few homemade scrubs and exfoliating tips for the best results.

Combine two tablespoons of orange peel powder and oats, add a tablespoon of honey and mix until you get a thick paste. Splash some water on your #face and gently massage this mask all over your face and neck. Let it sit for a few minutes and rinse well. Finally, pat dry and tone.

Mash two ripe bananas and add some ground sugar. For extra #hydration, you can add a tablespoon of honey. Massage this mask on your face for two minutes and wash it off with cool water. When scrubbing, never apply too much pressure, you may just scrub a little harder on the T-zone.

Combine half a cup of mashed papaya, two tablespoons of hung curd, a couple of drops of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey. Using circular motions, gently massage this mask into your #skin, let it sit on your face for five minutes and rinse well. After that, pat dry your face and apply a moisturizing cream.
